The Beasts Academy was created to help baseball players playing or looking to play in the AA or AAA levels reach their full potential as student athletes. Priority registration is given to current Beasts players, followed by players who were members of the Beasts Academy or Beasts Prospects program last year.

 

Members of the Beasts Academy will benefit from an exclusive elite training program designed by Yannick « Bergy » Bergeron using proven training methods and data driven approach to player development.

 

The Academy will feature top-level coaching specialists working with small groups of athletes (Maximum 5 athletes per coach) in Le Sandlot’s state-of-the-art training facility for 3.5 hours per week (one weeknight session (Tuesday or Thursday) and one Sunday session. Athletes will also be assigned at-home exercises to help athletes develop their mobility, flexibility, strength, speed and agility.

The curriculum will focus on improving the fundamentals of the game and teaching players new skills specific to the level the athlete is going into next season.

 

Including but not limited to:

• Hitting, defensive and pitching mechanics

• Tactical Baserunning

• Situational decision-making

• Pitch selection

• Pitch recognition and hitting approach

Price : $600 payable in 2 instalments of $300
